Our publication Great Ocean Road: Scenic & Historic Views is an A4 size (220mm x 295mm) high quality landscape-format book of 68 pages available in a soft back edition. The book is a sequential collection of spectacular scenic photographs from Queenscliff to Portland, interspersed with dramatic historical photographs and paintings of the area.
The book features in particular important aspects of the maritime history of the Great Ocean Road, including Cape Otway Lighthouse and paintings of well-known shipwrecks along the coast which have been specially commissioned for the book. These include the Loch Ard shipwreck at Port Campbell, the Fiji at Moonlight Head, the Schomberg at Peterborough and the wreck of the emigrant ship, Cataraqui, prior to the lighthouses being built at both Cape Wickham and Cape Otway.
The book has been extremely popular with tourists and has already sold many thousands of copies in its various editions over the years.
